You know, I think I’m improving… or at least I like my newer paintings better! Instead of being satisfied painting the beach, ocean or dunes, I’m wanting to have something going on in the painting! Like fishermen coming home after a long day, taking their friends for a joy-ride before the season starts, a friend joining us retirees on the beach after a day of work…
So, here are a few of my latest paintings… Let me know what you think of my new compositions! I’ve been experimenting with square paper and Shediac Art Gallery on Ohio Road is having a theme of “square” coming up… so they may end up in that show!
By the way, these will be for sale at the Hom’Art Market at Pascal Poirier Park on Sunday, Sept 13th (10-2pm)… the last market of the season, and it will be all artists! I’ll also be painting live there!!
